there's irony in the very existence of this piece

if at least you had writing and rapping skills, this piece might pass as simply arrogant.

now it's just plain annoying.

whateva mang, your shit aint any better than ours, so you aint puttin me down.

melodic and expressive

the AKAI drum loops i find are too present in the song and, unavoidably, are just drum loops!

I for one am a fan of live recording as opposed to digital filling... the guitar was great!

Please review some of my stuff!

No1r responds:

Hello ghetto-biba! Thanks for checking out my music and for critics about drums..
i often choose to use drum loops because they sounds a lot much "live" (well, they are) than sequenced.
Where i need, i use the "Fruity Slicer" plug-in so i can split the loop into a lot of parts and play them separately (adding more snares, cymbals etc..)!
So i would say i'm in between a live recorder and a digital filler ;)
I'll check your stuff, cheers.

Lemon Demon & K-OS? Tom Green & The Roots?

Your mix of a great beat, a reflective voice and preteen gag lyrics leaves me questioning.

Questions like, will you make more?

Keep it up!

Reroomed responds:

Intriguing.. no.. Shameless.. well.. hmm.. Pedophilias!

YES!

Well, that's weird.

This is Brad again DUH! I'm tryna hit all these comments tonight, as it seems my counterpart (Keith) is sleeping behind the wheel, so forgive me for the lack of foundation..

I'm glad you took time to hear this constructive mess, for it was quite an honor to provide the world with such apt bullshit..

And hell fuckin yeah we're making more.

Rocks!

Thats rocks, but theres one thing... that little sound that sounds like a woodpecker on speed: take it out. Or replace it with a hi-hat or something.
Nice!

K-Tipsy responds:

Thank you much for your review, I did what you asked and I agree, it is better.
Check it out if you want, I'm not forcing you, but I'd appreciate any further comments or quarries you gots fur mich.
Peace out, war in

LOL!

We've got a tear-jerker here! The heartbeat is just a really nice touch. Perfect, in a melancholic soft emo-ish kind of way :P

MilkMan-Dan responds:

I'm not emo.... am I?... oh god I'm emo. That's so depressing... well.. time to go hurt myself. Thanks mate :).

dramatic

Love the effect that's created! Synthey dramatic :P The only reason I gave 9 instead of 10 was cuz at the beginning theres this really random steel drumish noise that kinda destroys the ambiance.
Rocks!
cheers

MilkMan-Dan responds:

yah... stupid steal drums... figured some people might not like em. It's ok... I didn't either... dun know why I left them in there. Probubly lazy. LOOK AT ME... the lazy musician!

Nice!

I really liked the song, but the way you entered the piano with a bluesy scale doesn't quite compliment the dark aspect of the song. Like that other guy said, there were some discordant notes at the end, but all in all, it was wonderfully put together.

Do you think you could review some of my stuff please? I love constructive criticism :)

cheers!

MilkMan-Dan responds:

Bluesy scale lol... man... u talented people and your technicaly stuff. I have no idea wut ur talking about... but I'll deffinitley try to make it darker next time. And the discordant notes... I'll assume that means to quit screwing up when I play. hehe... but u wouldn't believe how many times I have to re-record my work. Sometimes I'm like. Screw it... they'll live with a few lil mistakes. Yah... bad practice... but I can only sit at the piano 4 hours tops lol.

Funkiness!

Nice! Again on the intro though...work on it. but the rest was sweet! Sounds like you tried that little tip I gave you :)

Think you can put some drums and bass into that? Then it'll be complete. And vocals, if you can find someone thats got the skills to sound like Jimi.

Rock!

Quoteman responds:

I was gonna put bass but I don't have a bass guitar. My only other option was to resort to MIDI and I wasn't going to ruin this with a cheezy bass guitar. So I decided to create a guitar playing a bassline (can't you tell -_-) its hard to notice but if I showed you a before and after you would see an improvement. As far a drums go, I have no way of putting those in as of yet. Maybe in the distant future we will see a improveder version.

Thanks for the A-W-E-S-O-M-E review!

I liked, but

The intro had no rythm! Gotta put soul into it, especially some Hendrix. The rest was pretty much the chords with improv and bringing out the second theme, but it sounded nice.
Did you try plugging your guitar directly to your computer to record it? Try plugging it to your amp and then plugging the amp to the computer. I did that and found that the sound was much better. Well, with keyboard/amp/computer anyways.
Cheers!

Quoteman responds:

Good idea, I'll give it a try right now and see what happens. I may send in a improved version in a minute.

Come back when puberty kicks in

No offense, but the song in itself was pretty lame. Buuttt... I'm sure that with some work (because you're still 14) you'll be able to produce some more completed works. Unless, of course, this was just a joke in which case in was funny :P

cheers

dantastic202 responds:

This is probably my only submission that will have my voice in it. Over time I'll bring in more stuff that is just instrumental. Thanks though. And this isn't my best work, I'll tell you that.
